Fall Salad

A super simple starter salad for your Thanksgiving meal! Feel free to add roasted butternut squash, swap almonds for pecans or almonds, or include some diced apples or pears. This salad is simple, healthy, delicious, and the perfect precursor to a splendid cruelty-free meal.

Measurements are up to you depending on how many people you are hosting at your dinner! So go wild!

-Spinach or arugula

-dried cranberries

-slivered almonds

-diced avocado

-equal parts Balsamic Vinegar and Extra Virgin Olive Oil

-squirt of mustard

In a small bowl, combine the mustard, Balsamic Vinegar, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Whisk with a fork until combined. Set aside. In a large bowl, combine spinach, cranberries, almonds, and avocado. Drizzle with the Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. Serve and enjoy!
