Recipe: Perfect Acai Bowl [VEGAN] [GLUTEN-FREE] [SOY-FREE] [RAW] [HCLF]

We’re speeding into summer here in Southern California, and the warmer weather has me craving cool, fruity meals. An Acai Bowl is the perfect fix for a balmy May morning, and was exactly what I was craving after eating my body weight in pizza, pasta, and pastries while traveling through Europe for a month and a half. This is the perfect Acai Bowl with no animal ingredients, tons of nutrients, and an abundance of flavor and texture!


Perfect Acai Bowl

For the smoothie:

-one packet of frozen acai, lightly thawed

-1/4 cup plant milk (I use cashew)

-2 cups frozen berries (or whatever fruit you like: bananas, mangos, etc.)

For the toppings:

-honey-free hemp granola

-goji berries

-chia seeds

-fresh fruit

Blend the frozen acai, frozen berries, and plant milk until the mixture is thick and creamy. Pour into a bowl and top with fresh fruit, granola, goji berries, and chia seeds. Enjoy!!
